David S. Gibson II is a native of the Coastal Bend. His areas of focus include commercial and real estate transactions, business organizations, and commercial and real estate litigation. He received his B.A. with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. While at the University of Texas he was a member and served as the President of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society and was also a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Mr. Gibson received his law degree with honors from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University and was an Isreal Deben Scholarship award recipient. While at Southern Methodist University he served as an associate editor for the Law and Business Review of the Americas legal journal and was published by the same in the Fall of 2009. Mr. Gibson also served as a trustee for the Texas Maritime Museum in Rockport, Texas. He is a life member of the Texas Exes Alumni Association and is an avid outdoors-man and golfer.
