Newman “Tree” Baker is board certified in estate planning and probate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Baker’s practice includes estate planning and probate matters, real estate and commercial transactions, and business organizations. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, his M.B.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law. He was on the editorial board for Georgia State University Law Review. He serves as an author and speaker for the State Bar of Texas continuing legal education programs. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Texas State Aquarium and the Board of Directors of Rise School of Corpus Christi. Mr. Baker is a member and involved in various endeavors of the First United Methodist Church of Corpus Christi. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Baker served as a Captain in the United States Air Force.
